Classical Tamil and Tamils in the World of Artificial Intelligence Conference – 2026

The World Tamil Research Conference, titled “Classical Tamil and Tamils in the World of Artificial Intelligence,” will be held in Toronto, Canada, from October 15 to October 18, 2026.

The conference will provide an academic platform that brings together scholars, researchers, and educators from around the world to explore the intersections of Classical Tamil, artificial intelligence, philosophy, culture, diaspora life, globalization, history, and regional economic development.

The conference also aims to encourage interdisciplinary dialogue that highlights the historical depth of Tamil intellectual traditions and their contemporary relevance in today’s world.

Abstract Submission Guidelines:

Abstracts must be 250-300 words.

Abstracts may be written in Tamil or English.

Tamil submissions must use a 12 pt Unicode font; English submissions must use 12 pt Times New Roman.

Keywords must be provided.

The submission deadline is June 10, 2026.

Review Process:

All submitted abstracts will be thoroughly reviewed by the conference research committee. Authors whose abstracts are selected through this review will be invited to prepare a full research paper.

All researchers will be notified of the decision on their abstracts by June 30, 2026.

Full research papers must not exceed 3,000 words and must use a 12 pt Unicode font. Papers must be submitted through the website listed above by August 31, 2026.

Selected authors from Sri Lanka and India will be provided with round-trip airfare to Canada and accommodation in Canada.
