Classical Tamil and the Tamils in the Era of Artificial Intelligence
“True wisdom leads one toward goodness.”

The Global Tamil Research Conference 2026, titled “Classical Tamil and Tamils in the Era of Artificial Intelligence,” will be held from October 15–18, 2026, in Toronto, Canada.

This conference serves as a scientific platform bringing together scholars, researchers, and academicians from across the globe to explore the synergies between Classical Tamil, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Philosophy, Culture, Diaspora Life, Globalization, History, and Socio-Economic Development.

The primary objective of this conference is to encourage multidisciplinary dialogues that highlight the historical depth of Tamil scientific traditions and their contemporary relevance in today’s world.

Abstract Submission Guidelines

  • Word Count: 250–300 words
  • Language: Submissions are accepted in either Tamil or English
  • Formatting: Tamil: Unicode, Font Size 12 pt.
  • English: Times New Roman, Font Size 12 pt.
  • Keywords: Must be included
  • Submission Deadline: June 10, 2026

Review Process

All submitted abstracts will undergo a comprehensive peer-review process by the Conference Research Committee. Authors of the selected abstracts will be formally invited to submit their full research papers.

  • Notification of Acceptance: All researchers will be notified of the decision regarding their abstract by June 30, 2026.
  • Full Paper Requirements: Full papers must not exceed 3,000 words, formatted in Unicode or Times New Roman, Font Size 12.
  • Final Submission Deadline: Full papers must be uploaded to the website by August 31, 2026.

Special Note for Participants

Selected paper presenters from Sri Lanka and India will be provided with round-trip airfare to Canada and accommodation facilities during the conference.
